Shaq’s in Town Brick

Shaq's in Town Brick

Tongue-in-cheek tribute to one of basketball’s biggest legends, and biggest free throw liabilities.

Shaq’s in Town Brick was a guerrilla marketing stunt by The Score sports network in Toronto, Canada.

Giant bricks were plunked down in front of sports bars and on basketball courts, poking fun at Shaquille O’Neal’s notoriously awful free throw shooting.

For diehard fans, missing a free throw is “throwing a brick”, and few threw them quite like Shaq.

Equal parts roast and homage.

Shaq’s in Town Brick turned sidewalks into inside jokes and reminded everyone that even legends have their flaws.
